Although the barn at Stoney Beach Farm looks like it has been newly erected, it has actually just undergone a tremendous transformation in recent years. The transformation is so dramatic that it is no wonder that people have thought that it is a new building.

We believe the oldest parts of the barn to date from the 1850's although we are still looking for definitive evidence.  Art and Ruth Kramer, the patriarch and matriarch of the current farm family, transformed the original barn just as dramatically as we have most recently.  They expanded the barn to its present day length in a series of expansions of their chicken operation.  Its structure is that of a traditional commercial chicken barn with a gable roof.
